Thank you for your continued patience as we prepare for Playland's 2013 Season! The Amusement Park will open on Saturday, May 11. The Main Boardwalk and Pier remains closed, as boardwalk construction continues followed by sand replacement on the beach. Based on the success on parts of the boardwalk reopening in mid-May, the Beach and Pool will tentatively open for the summer season on June 21. The date for the Pier reopening has not yet been announced. The Ice Casino will remain closed through 2013 due to damages sustained from Hurricane Sandy. Projected repair schedule and tentative reopening date will be posted here as soon as is available. The North Boardwalk and Seaside Walk remain closed until further notice. The North Boardwalk (adjacent to amusement park) which was totally destroyed by Hurricane Sandy is not expected to be replaced until sometime in 2014. Edith G. Read Wildlife Sanctuary is open.
